I am sick of hearing about the big debt ! Like all Australians who want to get ahead, purchase their homes, the country has to borrow to be able to invest in our future. No borrowing means no investments, means no future. After many years of governments doing nothing for schools,hospitals, infrastructure, we finally have upgraded most of our schools and some of our infrastructures and there is more to do !If it were not for the stimulus package ( thanks to the economic crisis created by our previous governments), many building companies and related business would have gone down ! Well, some business have abused the system, it will always happen as our society is full of opportunists , however the money still circulates and falls back into the system ... Our country has got one of the lowest debt with the greatest capacity to pay it back !What do we worry about when indivdual Australians keep endebting themselves with more property investments, more negative gearing, more credit card debt , etc . Typical ! rules for them , rules for the others ...
