Labor Women's Network
The National Labor Women's Network is the official national women's network in the ALP.

We believe that one of the best ways to achieve sound policy outcomes that support women in Australia is to encourage women to participate in the ALP, processes of government and in public life.

The National Labor Women's Network promotes activism in the ALP, by linking state and national efforts for women.

We sponsor training, mentoring and political work experiences, as well as informal social networking events.

We provide advice on policy issues at state and national levels, and represent the ALP in international women's forums.

Join this group to be part of a forum that strives to increase the number of women active in the Labor Party; facilitate and strengthen relationships between the various state Labor women organisations.

Women are the ones doing most of the food buying so it is up to us to decide if GM wheat, bread, biscuits, cakes, scones, pasta etc is what WE want. We have to decide now or soon the decision will be taken out of our hands.
