    Over the past four and a half years the present Labor government has achieved many great reforms. The message is drowned out by the conservative media. Our leaders MUST get a strategy to start telling the electorate of the achievements and benefits.

    A genuine act of reform now giving members more weight in the Parties structures and processes would go a long way toward bringing the Parties approval rating up to where it rightfully should be. Failure to reform will ensure failure at he polls.

    We live in an imperfect world, dominated by neoliberal ideology. Economics is the central focus on everything. Social justice holds little sway. ALP is moving to a fairer Australia. It acknowledges the level playing field mentality is highly unjust.

    The creation of more convolutions in the tax system under the guise of taxing carbon is tying the electorate even tighter to the apron strings of government handouts to cope with its imposition. The electorate will not suffer the indignity of this.
