ALP Abroad
ALP Abroad is Australian Labor's International Supporters' Network for the over one million Australians who live, work and study overseas. ALP Abroad members want to enjoy what the world has to offer while at the same time campaigning to ensure Australia is a great place to return home to.

As an international network of Australians who campaign for Labor while living abroad, we rely on volunteers to get involved and spread the word, playing a major role in ensuring Australians remain eligible to vote and vote while overseas.

Join this group to keep up to date with ALP Abroad events and campaigns and to get in touch with other ALP supporters where you live, whether you want to join an established group or start a new group in your local area.

We All Agree that ALP needs to sell its economic credentials.
How hard is it 5% unemployment v 10% most other western economies.
Interest rates lower than Howard (probably better to wait before hammering home)
    Stevens debunking debt bogey.
Stimulus saving jobs and businesses – surplus depends on strong economy – hammer deficit being higher if unemployment higher and less revenue collected and more benefits paid. Highlight the option of deceit or economic incompetence of the opposition!
Jobs/jobs/jobs and then dovetail into workchoices threatens your jobs/jobs/jobs and your conditions.
And while we are at it Julia is a real person and a real plus. Get her out there being Julia – Get here one on one with Abbott. No one wants to vote for Abbott – don’t give them a reason.
My son tells me of a solid liberal voting mate – good Christian boy even who can’t bear to vote for Abbott on the question of competence and danger factor.
The Labor Party appear to be running the campaign as if it’s in opposition – tell them about their jobs, the money in their pockets, the pension increases the tax cuts and THEN tell them how much better it will be ‘moving forward’
